After the success of the press and public obtained in Milan during the Fuorisalone 2015, Pietro Travaglini replicates the exhibition of his anthropomorphic and mutant creations in the magical setting of Ortigia in Syracuse from 3 to 10 August, inside the Convent of San Francesco, in phase almost completed restoration.

Travaglini has chosen to re-propose the fluid mise en scene of the first edition of the event: a video-installation and the signature of two important names: the photographer Giovanni Gastel and the director Marco Pozzi.

News reserved to the public of Syracuse is instead the performance of the young dancer protagonist of the video installation, which will open the inaugural evening of 3 August.

The dancer, of the company Kataklò directed by Giulia Staccioli, will dance live on Davide Montagna's choreography as already 'for the realization of the videos that will accompany the works of the designer during the entire week of exhibition.

The exhibition is organized under the patronage of the Comune di SIracusa in order to enhance the architectural recovery of ancient spaces through contamination with design and modernity, as stated by Francesco Italia, Councilor for Culture and the Historic Center, which made the project possible.

The exhibition also avails itself of the Patronage of:

Città di Siracusa - Siracusa d'amare - Ordine degli Architetti, Pianificatori, Paesaggisti e Conservatori della provincia di Siracusa - Istituto Nazionale di Architettura sezione Sicilia - Camera di Commercio di Siracusa.
