AMADRIADI Collection, timeless lamps that combine organic inspiration with minimalist abstraction in a contemporary homage to Nature. The name refers to the hamadryades, nymphs of Greek mythology that were each born bonded to a certain type of tree, which they lived inside of, thus if the tree died they would die with it. They were female because they were generators and custodians of life and salvation, mediators between man and divinity, “for bearing light is not something of men”.
